Why this installation matters

Proof from a working facility

The building sits on a working pier with salt air on the door all day, which is where steel sections and plated hardware start to fail. Translucent polycarbonate cannot rust, and closed doors turn the whole opening into a lit wall, so a deep concrete bay stays workable without switching on fixtures.
